Usually the scanners used for Radiochromic films digitization (EBT3) are film scanners e.g; Epson 10000XL, Epson V700 etc. These all have transparency units and different scanning modes.

But can we use a simple document scanner which do no have such transparency unit. And it will not have different scanning modes.
