How can I optimize linear quadratic regulator for a system using GA by either coding or toolbox?

do u have the quadratic equation??
as per my knowledge u can optimize in GA by differentiating the equation to get equality and non equality constraints then optimizing in GA tool box

You need first to design your cost function of the system you need to optimize, and define your limits. Then, you can simply perform the optimization using the GA toolbox available in the Matlab. For more information about the GA optimization procedure, you can refer to Matlab help.
