I am working on microstrip antennas and I have one doubt regarding that.
I have varied 3 parameters of the antenna corresponding to its dimensions and I want to learn the effect of these parameters on the resonating frequency and want to derive an equation consisting of these parameters. I am using curve-fitting tool present in MATLAB, but I want to get the equation which consists 'log', 'exponential', 'square root', 'root', etc. in it.
Please help me as I have read several papers which provide their equations and claim that their equations will give best result with a small error.

Try using system identification toolbox in MATLAB. It gives frequency response, system transfer function and many other useful parameters.
