Hello readers, I would like to know how to obtain the marginal effect of my tobit regression on SPSS. I prefer SPSS to STATA simply because it give me the flexibility of dividing my variables into groups, whence I can investigate the individual effect of each variable by group on my dependent variable.
AFAIK, SPSS still has no procedure for tobit regression. E.g., a search for "tobit" in the Command Syntax Reference manual for SPSS 25 finds no hits. Therefore, I assume you are using extension command that calls R (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21477139).
What do you mean when you say SPSS (really R, apparently) allows you to divide your variables into groups? If you give an example, someone may know how to do the same thing in Stata. Stata certainly seems to have some good post-estimation tools following tobit regression. See https://www.stata.com/manuals/rtobitpostestimation.pdf.

Well in this case, you've picked the wrong package. Stata offers a highly-nuanced approach to interval regression, of which Tobit regression is a simple case.
