Just apply a linear transformation of the data range [Ymin, Ymax] to [0, 1] ... simple!

range2 = y - x;
a = (a*range2) + x;
Many ways and depends on direction
a- Min (a)/ Range
or Max (a) - a/ Range
or making standard normal variate.
