My problem is that when I load the files .DAT created by Fetchex (version 6.0.3) in Matlab or Igor to analyze the spikes, the file is loaded with strange characters or is corrupted, respectively.
I tried with different macros for Igor, and for Excel as well, but the result is the same.

Do you know any alternative to read the file, to see the arrangement of the data?

You may try to transfer *.DAT to *.ATF which is a text format and can be readable to any application program.
