This involves extensive literature survey, methods available to study the biological effects of doses on pediatric patients, particularly cytogenetic analysis and comparison with the effects on population living in high background areas, etc. The effects of relatively large doses received by children as compared to the effects of the same dose received over a large period(where recovery of cell damage is possible) are to be compared.
