I'm modeling the progressive damage behavior a double Pi beam under 4 point bending using USDFLD subroutine. According to previous experiment I've already known progressive damage would only occur at radius and fillet zones of the beam. In order to reduce calculation time, I only want these areas involved into my USDFLD subroutine, instead of judging every element of the model in an increment. Has anyone ever done this before?
