I gonna model a nanostructure which is working in infrared range and made from a uniaxial hyperbolic material. As you know hyperbolic materials offer different n&k in x,y- and z-directions.
I was wondering how can I import the epsilon data of the hyperbolic material in CST Studio.

Create a new material, go into the dielectric properties and choose User, and upload there ASCII data of dispersive epsilon

Thank you for your response. The problem is I need to define two kinds of data as a dielectric function to CST. One that is same in the x- and y- direction and another set of ASCII data corresponding to the epsilon in z direction, and I don't know how to do that. I could do this just for a set of data corresponded to x and y direction according to the attached picture. Would you please explain more by sending video or pictures here?

I guess this is possible by creating new material and choosing gyrotropic disp. model in CST. Its my opinion, further you can go through the link and document attached.
