Yesterday, my laptop got a deadly trojan virus having extension ccc that affects each of my files. Afterwards, all my files were encrypted to the bizarre format that couldn't be opened by any installed program. Even tried to look up for software to decrypt my affected files but didn't find any. It seems to be a serious issue, I would be really grateful if I could know any ways to resolve this problem. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the virus got into my laptop through the link attached with the junk mail that I opened accidentally. From there, all my files turned into a format having extension ccc at the end and they were asking for money to get it repaired. As i searched, I got to know the virus to be ransomware and somewhere, it has been named as cryptolocker virus. But, couldn't figure out any app or program that potentially can open the file. Got into a big trouble and taking this platform to get some advice to sort it out. Hope something could be done so I could restore everything back.
There might be a possibility, see, for example, http://www.pcworld.com/article/2084002/how-to-rescue-your-pc-from-ransomware.html, but I would not have too high hopes. I personally doubt researchgate is the best place to look for solutions.
In the future, perform backups. If you want to open suspicious links, then do it in a sandboxed, preferably virtualized environment to limit the damage.

There is no remedy or solution for this ransome ware, all your files are encrypted so all you have do is clean your laptop, to factory default.... you will loose all your information, if you backup in external hard drive you can back up after you clean your laptop. dont waste time, dont buy bitcoins either..... theres no decryptor for this...
i dealt with same problem with one of my client....no luck. all i can say is restore your laptop to factory default.

you can do it, via Linux (Live CD), to access windows files and remove the .exe file i cant remember the name.
