I need radar rainfall data for a small catchment in Victoria, Australia. How can I get it. Is there any possibility to get it freely from any sites. Any suggestions in this regard would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can find information on radar products at: http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/radar/about/index.shtml. You can send an email request for radar data to [email protected]. There are charges for the service.

Alan Seed at BOM is the primary researcher/developer at BOM in this area. There is realtime data available on the BOM website, but there isn't full spatial coverage as the techniques only work for specific radars. See for example:
