I have created a FE model in ABAQUS consisting of two beams connected with a novel intermeshed connection and I need to run a 4 point bending analysis. I use explicit dynamic analysis as a quasi-static but the analysis aborts from the beginning. I get the following error message: *ASSEMBLY option was not found, the model cannot be analyzed unless part instances are created within the assembly.

What I need to do to fix this error? Could you please help? Thank you very much for your help.
