im facing a problem with messing the capacitance and the dissipation factor at 1 kHz with an LCR Meter from Wayne Kerr the idea is to show the impact of temperature on capacitors like at 40° and 60° and 80° the problem is that im not getting the same values each time I measure the samples.
I mean like messing the sample today with getting a result in the next day under the same circumstances im getting different results.
anyone can relate to this problem or can help? Any suggestions or references are appreciated, thanks.

What type of capacitor you have? If you have an electrolytic capacitor then you have to bias it by a DC voltage as indicated by the polarity at the encapsulation of the capacitor. Then when you measure it you have to limit the value of the measuring voltage to be less than the polarization voltage.
If you have nonpolarized capacitor then you have elaborate on the test conditions such that every time you measure the capacitance you have to verify all the test conditions including the temperature.
It may be so that because of the insulation materials in the capacitance it needs long time for homogenizing its temperature as such materials have low thermal conductivity. For adjusting the temperature you may need long time to make the inner temperature is equal to the outer temperature or at least very near from it. This will be pronounced in plastic capacitors.
