How can I fix colloidal quantum dots to the surface?

The solvent is toluene or hexane. It would be nice if solution loss were small and layer was uniform.

You can attach the pre-synthesized colloidal quantum dots to the surface of other semiconductor or metal in three different ways: 1- by direct attachment; 2- by suing linker assisted attachment (using some bifunctional molecules such as mercatopropionic acid); 3- by using electrophoretic deposition.
