A strange question. If you have a goal, time and desire, it's hard not to do it. Self-organization is the most difficult process. But when you master it, you can overcome mountains....

In my opinion, the problem with long articles lies in the wrong approach to scientific research. Most of these articles consist of 90, or even 100% analysis of other colleagues. There is no novelty in the work, no development of the idea. Behind this is, obviously, the pursuit of citations, which artificially raises the rating of the scientist.
