I am working on Magnetic cooling system, where for the solid domain, I have to invoke an additional variable source term (magnetocaloric energy) in the energy equation. How can I do that?
I had already tried the equation (1.19) of the page no 7 from the book Magnetocaloric Energy Conversion: From Theory to Applications. I had taken T_1 = 298 and B_1 = 0, then calculated the value of S_1=S. Then after fixed the value of B_2 =2, and calculated the temperature T_2 such that S_2 becomes S or near to S. But I am not able to get the accurate result.
It depends on your system properties, is M, the magnetization of the refrigerant, a function of temperature or/and external magnetic field or no? if yes, do you know the relation? so you can apply numerical derivative and integral. here is a manual that helps you do that using the C programming language.
