Synthesis of polyamide TFC membrane is performed with interfacial polymerization of aqueous solution of MPD with organic solution of TMC. Three series of reactions are performed in interfacial polymerization of MPD and TMC that are:
1- Reaction of NH2 group of MPD with the acyl halide group of TMC (Crosslinking):
[R-NH2 + R-COCl === R-CONH-R + HCl]
2- Reaction of the acyl halide group of TMC with water (Hydrolysis):
[R-COCl + H2O === R-COOH + HCl]
3- Dehydration of some of the hydrolyzed acyl halide groups and formation of new crosslinked groups:
[R-COOH + R-NH2 === R-CONH-R]
I need to know the reaction rate and enthalpy of each of these reactions.

You can determine rate constant by analyzing degradation of your reactant. By doing this you can fine first order rate constant. As far as enthalpies are concern you have to do temperature dependent study. By applying Arrhenius and then Eyring equation you can definitely get enthalpy values.

Rate constants and enthalpies for interfacial polymerization reaction must be determined by the researcher because, at desired temperature when you do temperature dependent study you can not correctly correlate your results with reported one. It is due to the difference in rate value of your and literature. So it is better to do yourself. As per my knowledge up to now rate constants and enthalpies for interfacial polymerization reaction was not reported yet.
