I am getting the fmin by giving the random x values.
Can anybody tell me, how can I find the fmin for f(5.0,5.0)?

Zuffain Hussan you're question is not clear.
scipy.optimize.fmin optimizes your function f starting from the initial point x0. What are you trying to achieve?
