In WSN,
1. I'm deploying sensor nodes in WSN.
2. Each node will have some energy initially it will be constant like (1 joules) so the sensing range of each sensor node will be constant
3. But after 1st round energy will get varies because sensor nodes will send the data to Base station so the energy will get varies
4. And now how can i calculate the sensing range of each sensor nodes ?
Note: how to calculate sensing range....
Raj Murugan-sir, i'm asking the range of sensor node. if i calculating distance than what about the energy parameter of that node? i think we have to consider the energy of that node for cal. the range.
Note: if i'm cal. euclidean distance of the sensor nodes, than what about the energy level, is that no need to consider ?
The only thing you should consider(related to energy level) is the transmission power. Initially, this power won't vary(as you probably have designed the node to transmit at a fixed power. If not, transmission itself will drain the energy very fast). Only when energy is really low, you will have any variation. So, using energy level in consideration will make sense only after the decrease of the minimum amount of energy to provide the designed transmission power.
Paolo Oliveira- sir, if in that case, the energy level of sensor is low than what will be the sensing range and how to cal. it ?

You can use something like Friis transmission equation where Pr/Pt = GtGr(lambda/4πr)^2, r is the range ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friis_transmission_equation ).
You can calculate its transmission power by the residual energy of a node. Once you get the transmission power of a sensor node, its range can easily be calculated.

L = Pt + Gtot – R;
This is the two equation that i have found.
Pt----> Transmitter power in dBm
L = Transmission path loss in dB
Gtot----> ( Ag- Cl) Total gain in dB
R = Receiver sensitivity in dBm
d = Distance between transmitter and receiver in meters
In this i know only "d" and "pt" and i don't know remaining parameter, so how can i calculate those parameter values..?
L is the path loss. When a signal propagates from one location to other, path loss occurs. Path loss is directly proportional to the distance between sender and receiver.
Total gain is calculated at the receiver's end and it is a measurement of the signal strength or quality of the received signal.
In My case (WSN), i know only residual energy and distance between two sensor nodes and other parameters that i have given below.

One can always vary the range of a sensor and that decision is taken on the basis of its residual energy since increasing its range will cost more energy consumption. Many optimal range algorithms are there in the literature where you can tune up the range/transmission power of a sensor accordingly.
Sourabh Bharti- sir, ok i understood but i'm asking about the equation, you gave me this equation (R = Pt + Gtot – L), for this i have the values for pt (Transmitter power) as 50*0.000000001, but i don't know how to cal. the remaining two parameters that is L and Gtot (Total gain) in wsn.
That's the main problem once if know how to calculate this values, than my problem will be solved.
