Extract with n-hexane then ethyl acetate and using GC/MS. The components of volatile fractions were identified by comparision of their mass spectra with those stored in the databases for GC/MS NIST Mass Spectral Library (NIST 08) and Wiley Registry of Mass Spectral Data, 8th Edition. Moreover their calculated liner Retention Indices (RIs) were compared with those reported in literature (Adams R. 2007,4th edn)
