Geranin B is a phytochemical compound present in acalypha indica leaves. From what I checked, it seems to be a proanthocyanidin. There are very few papers published about it and rather less information on it on pubchem. would love it if someone could give insights about this compound.
After the regular solvent extraction and concentration using rotary evaporator of freeze-drying , chromatographic techniques like HPLC can be employed to separate and isolate Geraniin B from other compounds.

So, I recommend you please go with Soxhlet Extraction followed by UV-Visible with specific wavelength or GC-MS/MS chromatographic analysis. You can easily acquire geranin standard from Sigma Aldrich and please go ahead with instrumental analysis of crude leave extract.

Ethanol is a general solvent dissolve all phytochemical including proanthocyanin (flavonoid derivative). After extraction use TLC with standard to detect the amount found then separate by preparation TLC
