I need to obtain quickly this information, but when I make clik in file and then on export results not appear the information required to obtain the plot
Hello Edwin it is possible to export data from the Zetasizer. Depending on what parameter you want to export this can be very easy (for size distributions), or slightly more involved (for zeta and for any imaginable combination of export parameters). Please take a look at the blog below. Also attached is a collection of useful Excel macros to enable user-friendly import of data into Excel. Best regards, Ulf
exporting data from a Zetasizer could be quite tricky and annoying if you have a lot of datasets. What I usually do if i need the results is exporting the raw data in order to plot them with more user friendly programs.
Here the procedure (this example is related to SIZE measurements, you can obviously choose other data if you want):
- click on CONFIGURE (icon next to MODE selection)
- on RECORD VIEW PARAMETERS search for SIZE
- select CORRELATION DATA and CORRELATION DELAY TIMES
- confirm
- on the summary window now the last two columns have the desired values
- select the measure, copy all the data (CTRL+C) and paste them into an EXCEL worksheet
- since data are in an unusable format, copy them into a WORD file, select them, replace "space" with "begin a new paragraph" (^p as command) and copy them back into the EXCEL file. This has to be done with both CORR. DATA (Y values) and CORR. DEL. TIMES (X values).
I'm not a regular Zetasizer user, probably there are other ways. I hope this helps anyway.
Hello dear, Emmanuele, I tried to use your methodology but at record view, data correlaction and correlation delay times, appear in horizontal line, but they are not organized. Thank you

Hello dear Ulf, I have a zetasizer nanoseries but I try to export my results and it has impossible to me, for example when I export a result I select only my file of my interest but in the exported page appears selected file and not selected file. Please could you please help me with that? because I need to export my file to excel.
Dear Edwin, if you have data in an horizontal line you almost did it! Select those data (a single line), copy them into a word file, then replace spaces between the numbers with "begin a new paragraph". In Microsoft word this command could be performed with find and replace, searching for " " and using "^p" as replacing text (without quotation marks, both searching and replacing text). This operation allows you to transform the line into a column with all your data, which can be now copied into an Excel file. Probably the macro mentioned above do this operation.
