I want to explore climate change adaptation option through improving the tree shade cover level for coffee plants. The current values of optimal shade cover at higher plant biomass or yield are 68%, 62% and 58% for low, middle and highlands, respectively.
This sounds like an impossible task, ie., the sort of question you might be able to convince yourself you've predicted and then decades later when you've invested resources based on this you were wrong because there are too many variables at play - the species composition of the overstory, the physiological preferences of that overstory, the area of the world being predicted for and the projected climate impacts expected for it, a decent helping of error for all of these factors, etc., etc.
Only if the physiological responses of all of the overstory species with respect to climate change are understood, which is likely not known. You can't model what you don't understand.
