I wanted to use surface albedo from MODIS images. Downloading and extracting the variables that are available in the MODIS product is relatively easy. However, the extraction (getting) Albedo is really confusing for me. Which band (reflectance) is considered good to estimate the albedo. What I want is the final products with albedo (0-1) value? so which one is the exact product for this purpose ?

Hi Wuletawu,
MODIS has Albedo product by combining images from Aqua and Terra sensors. The product has a spatial resolution of 500, 1000 and 5600 m with a temporal resolution of 16 days. Especially MCD43B3 has a spatial resolution of 1000m with a scaling factor of 0.001 you can get it at http://glovis.usgs.gov/ .
The product has white sky and black sky Albedo, band 9 and band 19 are broad band albedo. So you can used one of them band 9 or band 19 for your study.
