yes Mr Keramsi, Depend of how kind of simulation you need, make model in some basic way in RHINOCEROS software before integrating the module (object) into the Grasshooper parametric editor, but it is not that simple, you have to know the Grasshooper editor well at the end is possible to export to an a dbase modeller like catia or solid works to estabish attibutes or characteristics to the objects
Fouad Keramsi --- Keramsi, I agree with Julian Santoyo -- including the level of difficulty if you don't have experience with 3-D software and/or composing in a 3-D space. Plus applying light and surface texture adds another level of skills.
You need to draw, light and apply a surface texture to a ball and render the ball, then draw (light and surface texture here too) and render the parts that attach (bond) them to one another (to me it looks like there's 3 types) and then compose 1 horizontal row of balls with bonding parts. That will be a test to see if the balls need to be made with the bonds already attached vs a separate items. Then begin to compose into 2, 3 and 4 rows. Lastly you'll need to "group" the compositions of 3 and 4 rows so they respond as a single shape versus a set of parts - and apply an effect (deform) to make them bulge in the center.
