For my master's thesis I conduct research into the reliability and validity of a questionnaire. I want to determine how many participants I need to include for my study in order that the results will be useful. How can I do the power analysis for a reliability and validity study? Or is there another way to know how many participants I need to incorporate?

I recommend performing a sample size analysis and a power on R.
It is an open-source program. I give you in attachment two txt files; you have to copy-paste them in the R console and edit four elements.
One txt file is for the power analysis, and the other is for the sample size. For both, you can edit four parameters:
