I need to find/calculate/determinate the g value of electron-phonon coupling strengthin in easy way. I need this because I would like to calculate alpha constant for estimation of the multi-phonon relaxation rate W. Both equations (for the the multi-phonon relaxation rate W and alpha constant) are below. In equation to estimate alpha the g value should be dimensionless. I can not find this value for our crystal, so I want to estimate it, maybe using the luminescence spectra. I don't know..? Our crystal is bismuth zinc borate crystal doped with rare earth (RE) ions.
