How can I create my own wavelet for time-frequency analysis of seismic signals, denoising, and features extraction? I created my own wavelet with a mean of correlation of long period signals, but I know that wavelet have to join some characteristics.

Matlab contains some functions to work with wavelets. Moreover, there is a specify toolbox called Wavelet Toolbox (http://www.mathworks.es/discovery/wavelet-transforms.html). There are same examples of use and you may also look at the user's guide (http://feihu.eng.ua.edu/NSF_TUES/w7_1a.pdf)
To add a new wavelet, you must
1. Choose the full name of the wavelet family (fn).
2. Choose the short name of the wavelet family (fsn).
3. Determine the wavelet type (wt).
4. Define the orders of wavelets within the given family (nums).
5. Build a MAT-file or a MATLAB® file (file).

Yes, you can create your own wavelet and use it in matlab. First of all name your wavelet and study its response on different types of signals and compare with existing wavelets, this can be done by using the same commands in matlab (replace wname by your wavelet, e.g. 'harr' by 'yourwavelet').
Its properties like area under the curve of mother wavelet to be unity and it has low pass filter and high pass filter to be verified.
