Last year I caught scolopendra polymorpha but now I can't find them. How can I find the scolopendra!?
Try using pitfall traps baited with small pieces of meat or fish - this has worked well for me in the past.
If you are in areas with scolopeendras, look under stones. If there is any, it will stay for a second so you can catch it by pressing its body and head to ground and carefully picking the head to avoid the bitting
1. pitfal traps
2. under stones, trunks, planks, boards
For instance, I captured this gigant North African scolopendra (Scolopendra cingulata) under left planks in Lybia, Marsa El Brega.
We want to have the path for identifying scolopendra species.

This larva was captured using a plankton net in the Persian Gulf during the summer. I believe it may be a Facetotecta nauplius.
