The water initially at 303 K was heated by the concentration of sun rays with an average DNI of 800 W/m2 to a steel pipe 1.5 m long. It took 4 hours before the temperature reached 373 K. At this temperature more heat was added but temperature remained same (latent heat of vaporization). The question now is, what will be the steam production rate? How would the pressure increase with time, and how would the temperature of the steam inside the vessel increase with time? Thanks
