Can you please reformulate. Your question is not very clear. The Haar scaling function is a simple box function, 1 on (0,1), 0 outside [0,1] and as you wish, but with function values adding to 1, at 0 and 1.
What are phi(2), phi(2,3)? Functions or function values? One or two dimensions?
You use the Haar transform to get the wavelet coefficients of a sampled signal. The wavelet coefficients are coordinates in a basis consisting of Haar wavelets at different scales and Haar scaling functions at the coarsest level.
Sir, How we calculate p_1 =[1/2] in the paper of Chen and Hsiao entitled as "Haar wavelet method for solving lumped and distributed-parameter system".Whereas when we put m=1 in equation (21), it needs H_1(t) and H_1(t) is h_0(t) in euation (20a). when we integrate h_0(t) from 0 to 1, it will become 1.Means the value of P_1 is 1 but author wrote it as 1/2. Please tell me sir
