I have acquired the responses of 10 persons that rated 15 items twice. All persons rated all 15 items, so responses are crossed in raters and items. I have calculated the test-retest reliability for each participant using the ICC(A,k), since I am using the average of both trials in the end.(15x2 matrix as input for each ICC)

It is not clear for me now if I should calculate the SEM and the CIs for each participant or item.. How can I calculate the standard deviation of a matrix since there are two columns for each trial?

I have also read that the following formula is more appropriate for SEM calculation that will be used for the CIs of true scores:

SEM=SD*sqrt(ICC*(1-ICC) )

Thankful for any help!!

Greetings
