I am trying to assess factors affecting publication outcomes among Radiology residents such as Gender (male vs female residents) but there are 3x more males in my sample population.

It is better not to assess gender because it is not symmetrical, and even if it is assessed, it will be unreasonable, because the population of boys is 3 times that of girls, and there will certainly be a huge gap.
