How can I bias correct the APHRODITE data where my in-situ data is missing?

I have a MATLAB code running for bias correction to correct APHRODITE daily rainfall data w.r.t. observed data. But that code works well when both APHRODITE and in-situ time series are without gaps and are consistent with each other in start and end dates. How can I bias correct the APHRODITE data where my in-situ data is missing?
