Hi Siva, Do you prepare AS fully in DMSO or dissolve and make up with water. We generally store AS in refrigerator and have never faced any precipitation issues.

Hi Siva

Ethanol as the solvent works fine to us. No big need to store in freezer. Acetosyringone is chemically pretty stable, so a refrigerator is ok.

Is it the AS that precipitates or the DMSO that solidifies? DMSO is not liquid at -20°C. Actually I used to work in a poorly heated lab and in winter DMSO was not liquid in the lab in the morning (circa 15°C I'd say).
