Can a catalyst be attached on glassy carbon in different ways?
I am synthesizing electrocatalyst. In order to find its CV, I have to attach on the glassy carbon. i am looking for ways by which i can attach the catalyst and assure its attachment on the glassy carbon.

I may be able to comment; however, what is the electrocatalyst you intend to characterize using CV? This information will dictate the surface chemistry which can be used for covalent immobilization on to glassy carbon. Basically, you need to know the chemical groups readily available on your electrocatalyst for cross-linking.
Another option would be to simply non-covalently drop-cast it onto the glassy carbon surface.
You can use binder like Nafion for attachment of catalyst to the glassy carbon electrode

Without the attachment of catalyst, you get straight line on CV curve at zero current density. If your catalyst leached out in electrolyte then you must use any binder like Nafion or sodium dodecyl sulfate.
