Hello colleagues,

I’m currently exploring the relationship between Yoga and Digital Literacy, particularly how technological competence affects the access, quality, and personalization of yoga practices in modern contexts.

As yoga increasingly moves into digital spaces — through online classes, apps, virtual reality, AI-guided sessions, and biofeedback wearables — a key question arises:

How does digital literacy influence a person’s ability to access, understand, and benefit from these yoga-based interventions?

Some angles I'm particularly curious about:

  • How does limited digital literacy create barriers to accessing online yoga therapy or instruction, especially in rural or older populations?
  • Can digital tools enhance yoga instruction (e.g., AI-based form correction, data-driven personalization) without compromising the experiential and mindful essence of yoga?
  • What kind of digital education or support systems are being built to help yoga practitioners or therapists use technology effectively?
  • Are there existing frameworks or case studies measuring the impact of digital literacy on the outcomes of online or tech-assisted yoga therapy?

If anyone is working on this topic — or has insights into how digital skills intersect with yoga practice and education — I’d greatly appreciate your input, references, or collaborative opportunities.

Looking forward to learning from your experiences and research!
