We will be using decaborane in an experiment next year. We will be heating it to 120 C to use it in vapor form and the vapor will then be ionized. We expect the vented gas to consist of several different boranes. We understand that these boranes can be converted to boric acid by bubbling through water. But we need to know, and can’t find online, the depth of water needed, how fast and efficient this process is and if it will work on all the boranes.
