Dear friends
Hello,
We derived precipitation data using TRMM satellite images which covered the study area by 4 pixels. The study area elevation ranges vary from 1729 to 3760 meters. The main object of this study was to evaluation of the remote sensing efficiency in the calculation of precipitation for the areas which is not equipped any ground stations. According to the large pixel size of the TRMM images (25*25 Km) as well as being point wise of the ground station, there is a significant difference between the obtained satellite data and ground recorded data. So, in your opinion is it logical? Or no, it's possible that unknown error may be happened during process implementation? What are your recommended in this regards?
Warm Regards
Bagher
