I work at an HIV/AIDS center in a regional hospital and in my bid to help improve the services rendered I want to source information from long standing patients on how they wished they were much better treated. I however want ideas on how to go about the whole research.
My Masters thesis made use of the self-administered Picker Commonwealth Scale (for Patient-Centred Care) developed at Beth Israel Hospital (Boston, MA). Contact them for details. Once you have a good idea of what research methodology you want to use, plus what instruments (as above) if any you want to use, you may then fill in other details of how to proceed (research question, literature review, ethics review, etc.). The attached file on the research process may be of help.
