Deforestation is driving animals out of their homes and getting them closer into contact with humans, an arrangement that benefits neither. Alexander Gerst
Even if deforestation is done for the sake of industry and urban development, it should be made mandatory to initiate afforestation at least 3 times the deforestation
Even if deforestation is carried out in the interests of urban development, it is necessary to make it mandatory to start new plantations at least 2-3 times more than deforestation.
In addition to increasing the likelihood of contact between animals and humans, loss of habitat for wildlife can increase conflicts between humans and animals due to resource disputes, causing social and environmental impacts
Deforestation is happening at high rates now then ever before. Even if there are reforestation project, these are not enough to counterbalance deforestatiom rate and usually those projects don't last enough. By cutting entire forests, there is for sure the loss of that particular area and especially of all its biodiversity but many more problems follow. First animals which have lost their homes get nearier the periphery of the city to look for food and this facilitate spillover. Than the soil become more fragile and catastrophic events like flood happens more often and are more powerful because the tree that before acted as a defense, especially by means of their roots, are now absent. Moreover, the quantity of CO2 in athmosphere rises. Indeed, since plants capture it for their photosintetic projects, destrying a big forest means depleting the Earth of a efficient system for capturing CO2. Unfortunately, these are only some of the negative aspects of deforestation, which also create problem for the human society, especially the small local ones
Human interference for clearing the forest areas for agriculture, farming, mining, logging and urbanization causes deforestation, that have an impact on majority of the forest species. One of the main consequences of deforestation is loss of biodiversity. Deforestation leads to direct loss of wildlife habitat by destroying their shelter and breeding habitat and also reduce food supply. When an animal loses its natural habitat, its number declines leading to extinction. Hence, deforestation threatens species survival.
