AMUL (Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Limited) is an Indian dairy cooperative society founded in 14 Dec. 1946 and is jointly owned by 3.6 million milk producers in Gujarat situated at Anand, Gujarat which is largest food products marketing organisation and a part of Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. (GCMMF). The main aim is to help poor dairy farmers and landless labourers of Gujarat.
