The surface charge of the adsorbent material is an important factor that influence the adsorption capacity of the pollutant. How about the surface charge of 3D rGO@Fe3O4?

Judging by the formula, the surface of the composite contains iron oxide and its precursor iro hydroxide. According to the rule, a cation related to the crystal structure of iron oxide is adsorbed on the surface of a nanoparticle. Therefore, the particle's charge is positive. Iron oxide coverage of graphene oxide may not be complete. Carboxyl groups with a positive charge can "look out" on the surface. This confirms once again the positive charge of the core-shell nanoparticles.
