The method of set superimposition was first discussed in an article cited in an article published in 1999 in the Journal of the Assam Science Society. In that article it was shown how superimposition of equally fuzzy sets lead to the conclusion that two probability laws can define a fuzzy law. The findings were published in a regional journal because international journals available during those days were not agreeing to accept the results concerned. In 2008, an article based on the method of set superimposition got published in Pattern Recognition Letters. Then in 2010, I got this attached article printed in an international journal. After all, if the idea could be accepted in the field of Computer Science in 2008, then it must have been correct and therefore acceptable right from the beginning.
