Some journals' published paper already got citations, even some of them already cited by very renowned journals' articles although the journals are not JCR associated yet. Last time, I have cheeked a journal entitled as " Journal of Microscopy and Ultrastructure", where I found almost all papers of that particular journal already cited by other journals' articles. I calculated the total number of citations in 2016 for the papers published in 2015 and 2014 divided by the total numbers of published papers in 2015 and 2014 using google scholar. I saw the journal's impact factor should be around 3.5. But it's a matter of sorrow that the journal did not get Thomson Reuters' impact factor yet . In addition, I saw one of the paper (Published in 2015) of that particular journal got 45 citations. So, would you all please tell me, Whether the journal will get Thomson Reuters' impact factor in 2017? In addition, how a journal can get SCI or SCIE indexing?
