How 111 and 100 facet was formed during anneal ?

I annealed Ni foil in vacuum at about 900C, and after that, the surface is mixed with 111 and 100 facet. So how they are formed? Is there any ways that I depress the formation of 111 surface, and make the foil surface dominated by 100 facet?
