I would like to measure photosynthesis rate using PAM-210 Chlorophyll Fluorometer but I don't know how to operate it. It would be a great help if someone share your experience.
This PAM 210 is a bit outdated but in principle is used for Photosynthetic efficiency of PSII, that is a measure of relative electron transport. It can be applied to measure fluorescence of chlorophyll in vivo in presence of actinic light and you may apply a stress condition like low tempersture, herbicides or nutrient unbalance and follow the impairement by comparing fluorescence saturation with a control plant. For details ask PAM for a reprint of their manual or some paper about like http://agronomy.emu.ee/vol032/p3207.pdf
for PAM I meant WALZ of Effeltrich, but this network share some pertinent info at https://www.researchgate.net/publication/259620026_Modulated_chlorophyll_a_fluorescence_A_tool_for_teaching_photosynthesis

I read that PAM 210 is suitable for Coniferous plants and algae, Is that true? I have grasses with very Slender blade which I want to measure the Chlorophyll Fluorescence. Do you have other recommend PAM to me? Thank you very much!
The current PAM version (PAM-2500) said to be "High sensitivity enabling high quality measurements with dilute suspensions of algae and cyanobacteria" and you can find more details on http://www.walz.com/index.html
