Hi Rodney, you are right when you say that its not clear. I just used the function "project" on RG to sort my papers in "themes" more than "project." I gathered the different papers dealing with bioindication stuff in the project "Bioindication" so as "European sturgeon restoration" . Its probably not the good use of "Project" but it is convenient for sorting what I have done so far. But thank you for the information about your work. I will surely have a look to it.
HI, yah I have not figured out the project stuff yet either, so I have not used it. Its strange that research gate does not allow one to sort papers, or search your own paper list. Anyway, I noted that you are working with sturgeon. I've been working on describing their sounds for several years now. I have a bunch of data but have not yet validated the sounds as absolutely from sturgeon.
We also looked at sounds made by sturgeon some years ago with a Russian colleague who was studying it. We noticed that they "whistled" while they approach sexual maturity. I am not sure this was published but maybe in Russian language. The sound was recorded in rearing tanks where male and females were separated. We were wondering if they could communicate even if they were in different tanks. We still have the sturgeons in our facilities if you're interested in coming in France with your equipment.
