It is always better to electrospin the polymer solution asap. as the solvent tends to evaporate and could lead to variation in viscosity and weight concentration.

Consider following points while storing tpu in DMF.

1. Make sure that the solvent (DMF) is free of moisture

2. Put the dissolved tpu in dessicators

3. Keep an eye on isocyante content before and after storage (If tpu has excess/free isocyante, it may further react in solution form)
