Hi. Initial void ratio has not been defined in Abaqus do you know what should i do to solve it?

i make a model in abaqus

with to part soil and pile for make a model like a pile into the sea

i want static analysis

my step is static general

and i have 2 material steel and soil

soil property make of density elastic mohr kolomb and permeability

and i fix the bottom of the soil

but now i have error about initial void ratio has not been defined

what should I do

Hi Mina,

You should put tha following commant:

*INITIAL CONDITIONS,TYPE=RATIO

NALL,5.0

NALL: is the node set

5.0 is the void ratio eo
